Signs and Wonders
This ongoing series features photographs taken in Southern California, where I have lived since 1997, as well as other parts of the United States and Europe. Things I find enigmatic, out of place yet of that place, durably fragile, at once unsettling and reassuring. Evidence of actions or intentions, hopes or anxieties, that cannot be readily discerned.
