• As an unpublished essay that accompanied this 2004 exhibition of my photographs.PEN Emerging Voices Fellowship
Our culminating reading was hosted by the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles in July 2009. I'm grateful to PEN and the Rosenthal Family Foundation for the award, and to my teachers and mentors through the PEN program, including Ellen Slezak, Erika Shickel, Amy Friedman, and Samantha Dunn.
